The Odyssey

The Odyssey is a 2026 epic fantasy-action film directed by Christopher Nolan, following the Greek king of Ithaca (Matt Damon) on his perilous decade-long journey home after the Trojan War.

While Odysseus navigates treacherous seas to reunite with his fiercely pragmatic wife, Queen Penelope (Anne Hathaway), and battle mythic monsters like the Cyclops, his son Telemachus (Tom Holland) and loyal servants (including John Leguizamo as Eumaeus) must fend off greedy, conniving suitors—led by the villainous Antinous (Robert Pattinson)—who are attempting to seize the throne in Ithaca.

The film shifts between intense, visceral Bronze Age battles and a grounded, mythic underworld quest, featuring Zendaya as the goddess Athena and Charlize Theron as the sorceress Circe.
