DESCRIPTION:Beneath the vast expanse of the open night sky\, The Island House presents a Classical Christmas Concert\, Journey to the Light\, on December 10 at 6 PM on the Events Lawn. This special evening will feature a stellar ensemble of musicians\, including soprano and TIH Resident Artist Danielle Lee\, violinist Cameron Pratt\, clarinetist Dr. Alexandra Chea\, cellist Romel Shearer\, pianist Dr. Paul Jones\, and the inspiring voices of the Lyford Cay International School Choir. \nThe Island House’s music curator\, Romel Shearer\, has programmed a selection of classical chamber works\, featuring compositions by Mendelssohn\, Frühling\, alongside beloved holiday favorites. The narrative of the evening will be eloquently guided by the inimitable Jovanna Hepburn. \nJourney to the Light is a celebration of the season’s true essence—capturing the spirit of peace\, reflection\, and collective joy as we come together to embrace the promise of community and harmony. \nTickets are $85 for adults and $45 for children under 10\, and include a festive welcome beverage. Suggested Attire: Festive Chic \nOur side gate will be open from 5:30pm (on the road leading up to St Paul’s Church/Lyford Cay International Upper School) with parking available at St Paul’s Church. \nVAT at 10% will be added to all bills.\nPlease note refund requests will only be honoured 48 hours prior to the concert (5:30pm on 12.08).
